Fenton glass is one of the most famous and still popular art glasses. They made thousands of products which sold well for many years. As a result there are thousands of auctions for Fenton glass at any one time. It also means there are many children of baby boomer's who are looking at the "stuff" they just inherited and asking themselves:
- What exactly is it?
- What's it worth?
Neither of those is especially easy to answer.
We will be building out our Fenton-Glass.net website to help with these two questions. We will create as many pages as we need to show examples of the colors and patterns Fenton used. Visitors will be able to quickly look through the examples until they find ones that match what they have. Once they have identified matching pieces they can follow those auctions to completion and see what they sold for. That should provide a good estimate of value.
