Dereume glass bought out the failing Kanawha Glass Co. in the 1960' s and tried to continue their lines. It didn't work out and Derueme Glass Co. went out of business a couple of years after the purchase. The products were almost identical; only the label was different.
We were fortunate to buy a few piees of Dereume glass from someone who knew the owner and had purchased left overs from him. On our DereumeGlass.com website we will publish some of those details as well as pictures of the pieces we were able to buy.
