Cut Glass

Cut glass is made by grinding away some of the glass to leave a design with precise geometric precision and very sharp edges.  It is often done using lead glass as the starting point.  With almost 4,000 auctions going at any one time it is clearly a product category where some organization and analysis would be useful.

Cut-Glass.org is where we will be subdividing the field of cut glass into manageable chunks so visitors can quickly use the pictures to identify their own cut glass.  Once they have an identification confirmed they can follow selected sales of similiar or identical items to determine the actual market value of their antique cut glass piece(s).

I don’t have a website but I do sell on ebay this is great information keep in mind when you set up and let me know if there’s a fee or what I have great pieces of crystal and glass that I don’t know the pattern or their origin. Very informative and it great to compare.
