Mercury glass is shiny silver colored and popular for perfume bottles. It is still produced and was quite popular in the past.

As a collectible it's value is linked to other factors; most of which are probably more important than the type of glass. For example, if a mercury glass perfume bottle was made by or signed by a famous perfumer, that aspect will add most of the value.
