My father was a foreman for Kanawha Glass from the date the doors opened until it closed. It was a sad day for the employees, their families and for the neighborhood when they sold to Dereume because the State wouldn't give them a much needed energy break to help keep the fires burning. My passion is collecting Kanawha Glass. My five sisters and three brothers collect as well. If we put all of it together we would have some kind of showroom!!! I visited Fenton at Christmas time last year with my daughter, and I felt like a kid in a candy store! Such beauty in one place!! I am glad that your wife shares this love of Kanawha and all handcrafted glass too! MERRY CHRISTMAS! Lovely page!
